How works

You ask. gets the whole job done in , with you in charge.

Start with the outcome you need. gathers the full story from iMIS®, explains it, builds or changes what is needed, and checks the result. It keeps the context as the work moves from one step to the next.

Choose the AI app and model that fit the work.

A model supplies the reasoning. An agent app supplies the working space, tools, and MCP connection. AgentZ supplies the safe working methods for iMIS. Select a logo to visit that product’s website. Use the setup links below when you are ready to connect AgentZ.

Examples only. These marks belong to their owners and do not imply endorsement. A model or chat product is not automatically an AgentZ client. The chosen agent app must support MCP, and the complete setup must pass the AgentZ connection and security checks.

What happens when you ask

works like a capable colleague who also shows their working.

It does not stop at a plausible answer. It follows the job through to a useful and checked result.

Understand

works out the real outcome behind the request and keeps the people, records, dates, and limits in view.

Investigate

It looks across the relevant parts of iMIS®, brings the evidence together, and explains what it found.

Do the work

It can build, update, register, record, report, publish, or prepare a clear handoff, depending on the task and the user’s access.

Check

It reads the result back, makes clear what is live and what is still a draft, and records the activity.

The parts behind it

Five parts work together, each with one clear job.

Most people only need to know that they choose the AI app, sign in through , and continue to use their normal iMIS® permissions.

Your password stays out of the AI chatYou sign in to iMIS in the AgentZ desktop app. The AI app receives an access token, not your username or password.
Your iMIS access still appliesIf you cannot see or change something in iMIS, AgentZ cannot do it for you.
Important choices stay with peopleAgentZ stops and asks before work that needs a decision or explicit approval.
You can see what happenedAgentZ checks the result and records the work in its activity feed.
How it reaches iMIS®

uses the best supported route for the task.

You do not have to choose the route. does that work and makes the result visible.

Direct system connection

Use iMIS system connections when they can do the job.

For most work, talks directly to supported iMIS® services. This is how it can read records, run reports, and make permitted changes. chooses the right service, uses the signed-in session, and checks the answer. The AI app never receives open-ended access to the iMIS® API.

Visible browser route

Use the iMIS browser when the work needs the screen.

Some iMIS® work belongs in the visible website or Staff site. The desktop app has a browser that the agent can use for supported steps while the person can see the route and take over when needed. This is what ‘agentic browser’ means here. It does not bypass iMIS® permissions.

What adds

The experience, working methods, and checks that the AI app does not have on its own.

This is why is a full working suite rather than a simple connector.

It knows association work

It understands members, subscriptions, money, events, fundraising, learning, communications, websites, reports, data quality, and the ways those records connect.

It knows how to do the job

It checks this client’s iMIS® first, chooses a proven route, shows the plan, and hands over cleanly when iMIS® requires a person to use the website or Staff site.

It shows its working

It turns the records into a useful answer or result board, makes clear what changed, and verifies the final state.

AgentZ illustration showing increasing operational depth from queries to dashboards and then iParts and modules
Different jobs need different depth. A report can follow a focused route. A dashboard combines more records and presentation work. A full iMIS page or module adds design, building, testing, and publication.
One request can become a complete piece of work

keeps the thread when the job grows.

A useful result often needs more than one report or one screen.

“Show the board what is happening with renewals, and give the team a way to keep watching it.”

can find the relevant membership, invoice, payment, and activity records; explain what the numbers do and do not show; build a reusable IQA query; turn it into a dashboard; place that dashboard on a staff page; write the plain-English commentary; and check the rendered result. It can keep the same question and evidence in view throughout, instead of making the person start again at every step.

What this means for people

Less time translating a need into a set of steps.

People continue to decide what matters. carries more of the accurate, permitted work between that decision and the result.

For an association

Staff can start with the member or outcome.

A membership manager can ask why a member looks lapsed. An event lead can ask who has not paid. A director can ask for a board view. finds the right iMIS® records and carries the work forward.

For a consultant

Take a client question from discovery to a tested answer.

A consultant can understand a new client system, prepare the query, dashboard, page, or change, explain the evidence, and carry out approved work. The client’s authority and the consultant’s responsibility stay clear.

The person still owns the purpose and the decision. AgentZ can search, build, explain, and act. The association or consultant still gives the authority, reviews important work, and remains responsible for the outcome.
