- ASI has introduced the iMIS Assistant for staff help and AI Content Creator for prompted text in the native content designer. Check ASI release documentation for current availability.
- Other useful categories include Datascout for member engagement and communication, Safion for assistants and chatbots trained on selected iMIS data and RiSE content, and Armstrong’s Zapier for iMIS powered by iAppConnector for workflow automation and a selected set of iMIS actions in supported AI applications.
- AgentZ is separate from those focused native features. It is a full operational suite with more than 100 kinds of operation, delivered through 70+ specialised tools across 200+ types of iMIS data.
- Its scope includes membership, billing, events, fundraising, certification, commerce, communications, data quality, reporting, RiSE websites, content, imports, custom data and system configuration.
- AgentZ can hold context and coordinate long-running, multi-step work. It can investigate, design, build, review, act and verify across a connected task.
- A chatbot and an agent application are not the same thing. A chatbot mainly returns a reply. An agent application keeps the task, files, tools, plan and progress together, can use the computer where supported, and can connect to AgentZ through MCP.
- Claude, Gemini, Grok and GPT are model families. Agent applications include Codex, Claude Code and Desktop, OpenCode, Google Antigravity, Grok Build, Hermes Agent, OpenClaw and Cursor. A product name alone does not prove compatibility; the selected app and complete setup must support MCP and pass AgentZ checks.
- For example, the native AI Content Creator can draft text in the content designer. AgentZ can design and build a complete iMIS page, including its content, components, data, navigation, publication path and verification.
- Users enter iMIS credentials in the AgentZ desktop app, not in the AI conversation.
- AgentZ works within the signed-in user's iMIS permissions.
- Important work can require human review. AgentZ reads back the result and records activity.
- AgentZ uses Model Context Protocol (MCP) so the operational layer is not tied to one AI model. Current application support depends on the AgentZ package and the organisation's approved setup.
- The desktop app runs on macOS, Windows and Linux.
